Advanced Treble Choir
Treble Choir is an auditioned ensemble that is designed for any SHS student who is interested in singing for the first time. This class is open to Treble Voices (Sopranos/Altos). All students who fit this description are able to register for this course regardless of grade level or previous experience.
In this class, students will begin to learn music literacy and sight-reading skills. Students will also sing a variety of repertoire from different cultures, styles, and eras. Students will also be highly encouraged to audition for Freshman Honor/Mid-State and All-State Honor Choirs.
This class will require 2 annual concerts, a fundraiser, and field trip to Choral Festivals.
Choir fees for 2023-2024 will be $40 and include a Choir T-Shirt. Fees can be alleviated for students through fundraising opportunities throughout the year.
