College/Scholarship Recommendations
 
 

Often times, students need a letter of recommendation from their counselor for college, scholarships, governor's school etc.  Please fill out a brag sheet so that we are informed of your extracurricular and volunteer activities. Give your recommender at least a 2 WEEK NOTICE before the deadline.

 

 

FAFSA Information:

The FAFSA application opens October 1st!  This is the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and determines your eligibility for student financial aid.  All seniors must fill out the FAFSA at https://fafsa.ed.gov

HOPE Scholarship
Tennessee Hope Scholarships 2020-2021 | Apply Now
In order to receive the HOPE scholarship, students must have a 3.0 GPA or 21 on the ACT. Up to $2,250 per full-time enrollment semester as a freshmen and sophomore; then up to $2,850 per full-time enrollment semester as a junior and senior
There is also the General Assembly Merit Scholarship for students who have a 3.75 GPA and at least a 29 ACT composite.  To apply for the HOPE scholarship, students must fill out the FAFSA.
