Education Verification Directions

In order to verify education for former SHS students, we need to receive a signed release of the person your company is verifying as well as a $5 fee in the form of a check or money order made out to Smyrna High School and any other documents that we need to fill out and return.

Upon receipt of payment and documents by mail, our turn-around time is usually 1-2 days, but please keep in mind that this time frame is dictated by duties required for current students and school activities.  Our records go back as far as 1923; take note that some records need extra time to locate since some of our files are archived.  In addition, please include a fax number if you would like for us to return verification by fax.
