Chamber Choir
Chamber Choir is an advanced ensemble that is designed for Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors who have been in choir at SHS for at least 1 year. Entry into this course is by audition. Auditions are held in the Spring semester for all current SHS Choir students.
In this class, students will continue to improve on their music literacy and sight-reading skills. Students will sing a variety of repertoire from different cultures, styles, and eras. Students will also be highly encouraged to audition for Mid-State and All-State Honor Choirs.
This class will require 2 annual concerts, fundraisers, and field trips to Choral Festivals.
Choir fees for 2023-2024 will be $40 and include a Choir T-Shirt. Fees can be alleviated for students through fundraising opportunities throughout the year.
