Banking and Finance

The Banking and Finance Class operates our school bank called 'The Bulldog Bank'.

The purpose of the Bulldog Bank is to provide real banking services to Smyrna High School’s students, teachers and administrators; while at the same time, allowing Banking and Finance students the privilege of experiencing real-world banking careers.

The Bulldog Bank provides students, teachers and administrators the opportunity to save money, make withdrawals and earn interest on money deposited.

Opening an account at the Bulldog Bank requires a $3.00 deposit. Upon opening an account, students/teachers fill out a bank application and a deposit slip. Account holders can make daily deposits and withdrawals; all the while, experiencing real world banking opportunities.

Benefits of being a customer:

  • Save money!
  • Have money available at school
  • Receive change for larger bills
  • Have loose change rolled for free
  • Earn interest on accounts with qualifying deposits

The Bulldog Bank is open during all lunch periods. We are located outside the cafeteria near the JROTC Hallway.
