RCS launches distance learning plan during COVID-19 shutdown

While nothing can replace face-to-face interaction with an educator, access to instructional materials is essential during an extended closure.

Beginning the week of April 6, 2020, RCS will offer optional assignments and activities to keep students engaged throughout the COVID-19 shutdown. New assignments will be added for each week of the shutdown. Teachers in all content areas will be sharing supplemental resources via their websites and will provide feedback on submitted assignments, although a grade will not be given.

Smyrna High School’s Culinary Program, along with Chef Albert Villalobos, are connecting with downtown Smyrna’s Carpe Cafe to host a Valentine’s Day Weekend dinner. Proceeds from the event sponsor funding for two state-based competitions.

Student Athletic Pass

Student athletic passes for the 2019-2020 school year are on sale in the Bulldog Bank during lunch hours. Passes have been discounted to $25 since Fall sports have ended. These passes will get students into every regular season home athletic event. Quantities are limited!
