Cambridge Music AS (9483) - Click here for official Syllabus

This course explores a wide variety of areas of music:
Music Theory
Listening and Analyzing
Music History
Performance Practices
Composition

A good background foundation of music is a must, and will typically mean that you have taken 2+ music classes at SHS already.  The Cambridge program stresses the importance of self-learning by means of research, listening, and practicing.

Who can take Cambridge Music?  Everyone, but it is designed for music students to further their understanding of music and is also designed for Cambridge students working towards their AICE diploma.

Here are some links to help you prepare for the course and for the exam, primarily in areas you may not have had a class on just yet.
