About Myself

Mr. Ben Reagh has been teaching at Smyrna High School since 2003.  He graduated from Tennessee Tech University with a Bachelor of Music in Music Education degree.  His primary role is directing the orchestra and band programs at SHS, teaching the Guitar and Music Theory classes, Cambridge Music AS, and sponsoring the TRI-M club. In addition, he is the Fine Arts Department Chair and the PLC team leader for SHS Performing Arts,.

 

Mr. Reagh is active in many professional organizations: Middle Tennessee School Band & Orchestra Association (MTSBOA), Tennessee Music Educators Association (TNMEA), and National Association for Music Education (NAfME).

 

Some of his interests and hobbies, besides music, include playing disc golf, bass fishing, and cheering for all professional sports teams from Detroit.
