Nurse Sissom has been in practice since 1994. She was born and raised in West Tennessee in the historic river town of Savannah. She attended Hardin County High School and graduated with Honors. Nurse Sissom is very proud of her hometown and frequents Savannah to see her family and life-long friends.
Nurse Sissom graduated from Middle Tennessee State University in 1994 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Practice focus areas include hospital-based Critical and Special Care Units, Cardiac Care, Post Anesthesia Care, PRN Float and School Nursing since 2005. She joined Rutherford County Schools in 2011 at Smyrna High School. Nurse Sissom is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support. She is an American Heart Association CPR and First Aid Instructor. Nurse Sissom leads the Smyrna High School First Responders and is the Medical Team Leader for the Smyrna High Crisis Response Team.
Nurse Sissom is a proud mom. She has one son, Austin, who will graduate high school in 2017 then to college. Maverick is her pampered Shih Tuz puppy. Hobbies include spending time with family and friends at area events, road-trips, sunning poolside, boating with friends, shopping, seeing movies, eating out, church events, reading, enjoying time at home to simply enjoying company on a local patio or around a bonfire.
